The 13th annual Galant Challenge invited founders and startup teams from the UVA community to pitch for seed through Series A investment. Finalists pitched live in Charlottesville on April 23, 2026, for up to $6M in investment capital.
Since 2012, the venture investors involved in the program have invested more than $37M in UVA scale-up and growth-stage startups. In 2025, six finalists drew more than $6M.
