Overview

UVA runs on more than one geography. In the far southwest, the College at Wise runs the Hatch Accelerator and holds its own dedicated track in the University-wide E-Cup. In the north, UVA|NOVA is a campus with its own dean and chief executive — Gregory Fairchild, of Darden — teaching working professionals a short drive from the federal government and the region’s technology employers.

  • UVA Wise — the Hatch Accelerator, and a dedicated Wise track in the E-Cup Concept competition
  • UVA|NOVA — a 55,000 sq ft Fairfax campus inside the Inova Center for Personalized Health
  • Nine of UVA’s twelve schools teach in Northern Virginia
  • Gregory Fairchild, Darden, is UVA|NOVA’s inaugural dean and chief executive
  • Darden’s Sands Family Grounds in Rosslyn, and a part-time MBA offered there since 2022
