Corporate Partners
The way most companies actually reach UVA.
Overview
Long before a company licenses a patent or takes wet-lab space, it usually arrives through a school. McIntire runs a Corporate Partners Program built around client-centered student projects and seven research centers. Darden runs corporate partnerships and an executive education practice for organizations. Engineering runs named research centers with industry. These are separate front doors today — and the most common way a company begins a relationship with the University.
